Terms of service

The short version: be 18 or over, use Code Men to understand your own situation, not to target anyone, and remember it is an AI read, not professional advice.

1. Who can use Code Men

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.

2. What Code Men is, and isn't

Code Men generates AI reads of messages and situations you describe. Reads can be wrong, and they are based only on what you share. Code Men is not therapy, counselling, legal advice or any other professional service. If you are in danger or distress, please contact local emergency services or see our safety resources.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Code Men to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten or intimidate anyone;
  • upload content in order to target, expose or shame a specific person;
  • share sexual content involving anyone under 18, or intimate images shared without consent;
  • try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around usage limits.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you share. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you. Please only share what you are comfortable sharing, and remove details such as phone numbers where you can.

5. Subscriptions and payments

  • Pro Monthly includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe and Naira payments by Paystack. Refunds are handled according to applicable consumer law and the refund policy that will be published here before checkout opens.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This removes your decodes, cases and profile.

7. Liability

We provide Code Men as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a read. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

8. Changes and contact

We will tell you before material changes take effect. The governing law and a contact address will be confirmed here before launch.
